This is honestly worrying, esp after reading that author's note. This is just r@pe and abuse glorified. The author is blissfully unaware or intentionally ignoring their characters' shitty actions. I dont even know where to start cause its just all around messed up. I agree with the translation team, that this would have been better as straight up porn cause the art is great and the sex scenes alone were well executed. I was excited for the first chapters bc you dont see these types of stories with female protagonist. But it turns out to be a total shit show. 117 chaps and the story went nowhere, absolutely no character development. And because it is so rare for a fl in this kind of plot, its even more harmful. The author actively make excuses for and romanticizes sexual assault. It truly worries me what goes on in the author's head to make her think that this is okay. And if you're young and reading this, please know that none of the relationships described in detail here are healthy, and all of the main characters are toxic. The bdsm portrayed here is so harmful. Remember, consent is of utmost priorities the moment it comes to anything physical.

The author said at one point in the notes that they based minho on a guy they know in real life. I have a strong feeling they just wanted to vent their frustration with the guy on this character and punish them. Sure he is insecure, misogynistic, egotistical and lack self awareness, but no one deserves what those "doms" did to him. And they get away with it too?? With their happy endings and half ass introspectives that lead nowhere. He was given no chance and is only used as a punching bag to excuse the fl's shitty personality, and it still isnt enough because like i said, no one deserved what he went through.

There is no way around it. Doona and wookyung are r@pists. The soft boy whose name i forgot is also at fault for what they did to minho in his apartment. That is still sexual harrassment. They dont deserve a "happy ending" or whatever it was we saw at the end. Those people need to be in jail, soft boy needs to reevaluate his whole existance, and minho needs help. The other sub girl was smart to fuck outta there quick.

Even if we ignore the sa, the story still sucked with lazy writing but i probably dont have to talk about it since everyone basically knows :)) This is more of a rant. If anything, I'm just worried about the peole who thought this was ever okay to publish, from the writer to the publisher. There are many stories dealing with violence and abuse but they know what they are and the writing clearly condns sexual assault, from the narrative to plot to warnings and authors note. This author just straight up romanticze r@pe and very poorly portray safe bdsm. I know i said that already but fuck am i mad at them.
