A forgotten manga

Do you by any chance know a manga about a little boy who perhaps had ginger or red hair (I think) he was sent to a station (his cards were switched by a guy who knew him from somewhere and switched the cards b/c sum bad was gonna happen to him or was gonna go to a place he wasn't suppose to) and the little boy was by a station that had a small shop a rich man made for the women b/c she wants to keep waiting for her husband by the train station and waiting for him to come back. The boy was sent to there to help the man with his farming and all but he wouldn't allow a little boy so he begged until he was allowed to work for him and as he keep getting older he was getting greedy and wanted the man's attention and begin to have feelings for him and always be with him to the point that he opened the window in his room that a something was covering it after the man locked the other window to get himself fake sick so the man could spend time with him and take care of him but he got sick for real.
