Psychologists who study BL suspect that many authors who portray rape are victims of it - most yaoi is written by women because they portray themselves/women as one of the partners, as a form of projection. The recurrence of rape is because many of the authors are survivors of it.
Maybe the mangaka got rapped cuz every single manga of her contain a sort of forcefull love without talking about the rapes ....-_-
