Hahahah yeah! He just use the method bcs he thought it would work(like he said). Plus, it's a great move to use since he doesn't want any approval from those people, he just wants Director Yoon's attention. Just like you said, he didn't even know Director Yoon, so how could he knew that that method is a great move? Idk, instinct?
