I mean it would be a great pregnancy test (lmao) if you don't change sex after getting pregnant.
Alas, the whole "having sex with someone you love" cures the genderswap thing all together, so unless the MC does artificial insemination or has sex with a stranger, I guess we will never know.
Would love to see genderswap mechanics interact with pregnancy (thus we can answer the age-old question of which hurts more: giving birth or getting kicked in the balls).
