SPOILERS FOR THIS ARC!!
Since I'm quite far off the the novel, I'm not sure about the details but this is where mielle tried to accuse Aria of pushing the Count. But then Asher helped Aria that day by teleporting to a far place (for evidence that Aria is really not in the place of incident). In the end, due to lack of evidence and since mielle's maid is dead, mielle lost the Trial and was labelled using hallucinogens (which perfectly goes with how mielle created rumors about aria lol)

Since Cain knows that mielle is the one who did it, he didn't do anything after the Count was declared unable to move again.
