I did read it and to be honest khaol is my favorite character in this series.... Since the beginning I have been reading this from khaols perspective and it just hurts to see almost all the people hating on him
i read it, and i agree with u, even though khaol in the past hurt river, but doesn't mean khaol in the present do the same thing to him. No body is 100% good and 100% evil, everyone have their own bad side and good side , that's why even i dislike khaol doesn't mean i can blindly hate him. Btw thanks for being fair to the characters ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ﾉ~
i think lari gave khaol a false hope. without lari promising that she will bring back his ex khaol would most likely just focusing on river since he slowly fell in love with river even though he did not want to to fall anyone other than his ex. i feel like lari is the one that caused him to have hope and bind his ex even more. ofc it doesnt excuse him for what he has done to river ever since he was his bride. at least he paid for it with lots of pain and suffering and both love that he could not have anymore. what he did to river did made me mad at him but i couldnt completely hate him... the only one that i hate in this story is lari

I agree. I genuinely don’t hate him at all. Everyone in the comments acts like saints but it’s hard to believe they wouldn’t do something similar like Khaol for the person they love, nobody is 100% good - especially humans. Tbh I like his character, I might not agree with some of the things he’s done but as a character he’s very interesting and very much like a human than a god (If I’m making sense).
Although I hate how and what Khaol did as I get further into the story I can understand why he didn't. I do believe he doesn't deserve what Lari is about to do to him/them. They honestly didn't deserve this. All their pain basically stemmed from her if you think about it from the beginning.

I agree with you but I still can't stop myself not to hate him idk why. I mean I understand why he did that because of someone he loves. It's good to hear that he'll also get to have a happy ending after years of suffering.
I hate him but you can say that his love for river don't grow since heil is the second male lead. If it's not for heil they might had a happy ending. Like author said she wanted kahol and river to be endgame but she changed her mind later.

As a fellow writer like the author, in plenty of drafts featuring multiple love interests I have to say it can be hard to pick just one to be endgame, I can't say for them but for me the more I make the characters interact and stay with them it can get hard to choose one cause you can get attached.
I understand that's why I don't hate author. its her choice and it's her story so she can do whatever she wants anyways. It's not like we are helping her. Not only that we are not even paying for it and reading it on an illegal site so I have no rights to judge her.
Okay I know y’all hate Khaol or whatever for what he did to River but like look at his point of view- I mean the boi couldn’t get anymore miserable I mean he has to sleep with the descendant of the person who had him and his lover killed then he fell in love with the descendant only to find out that he could bring back his lover that he waited for over the century-And yall some of y’all if y’all had the chance y’all would do anything to get back to y’all ex especially the toxic ones…so he did what he had to do and I think he kinda helped river because without khaol agreeing to put his soul in the god River would be old and wrinkly and also now River has the power to stand up the gods- and now y’all talking about annoying- it’s not like he’s asking River to drop everything and come be with him he’s just making it known that he loves River and that’s that. Now Lari can suck it but Khaol is scared and lonely and let’s not forget his pain well he’s the god of pain but did y’all forget without the willing partner he feel pain now that would make Anderson crazy as hell- And I love the Ml just like y’all but y’all are glossing over the fact of his past y’all can forgive him because he’s nice to the mc but when Khaol comes over it’s hell no…be fair the khaol he’s hurting just as much as River because he sacrificed his lover to get his old lover just to find out his old lover gave up hope on them….He was blinded by love- and River is now opening up his eyes and now Lari got come in here like the bitch she is and ruin him and y’all know that if Lari didn’t guilt trip Khaol River wouldn’t have been sacrificed I’m not saying you have to love him but give him another chance..be fair
