I signed out from my account for a few days and when I came back, the pop ups were nowhere to be found. I hope it helps.
use multi pages instead of reading per page. if you just scroll, there are no ads.
there are adblockers for phone!! (I'm using one on my iphone and it works great)
Download "Firefox" and get the two add-ons called "AdBlock Plus" and "AdBlocker Ultimate" which will filter out 99% of these suckers, and if they don't catch a pop-up, just right click or press-and-hold a finger over the page, and when the selection menu pops up, click on "AdBlocker Ultimate" and then "Block ad on this page" and once it goes into selection mode, click on the pop-up to block it, then check the two boxes that say "Block this ad on all sites" and "Block similar ads" and you should be good to go.
This is what I have done, and it's been working for me for the past 3 years now... so I highly recommend it! ^.^
