I feel like it's a character archetype. The mysterious dickhead who's emotions are never understood throughout the whole story.

except at the end, we found out he was in love with Henrey that was unrequited but now he knows they are together he can move on I hope he finds someone to love who loves him back the same as I hope Seth does
