where did you find the mentions from?
the author did say in the 4th season epilogue that they wanted to bring the grandfather but gave them a break bc it was too much drama.

There have been several mentions of Taesung's grandfather but we haven't seen him yet. So I think the next season will probably explore the grandfather accepting them/or not and probably a wedding as well.
Plus the auther could also show them learning to run the bakery, have kids etc
