The closest I can think of is the historical BL, Painter of the Night. It's popular so you may have read that already.
WARNING: Painter of the Night has intense and graphic portrayals. Sorry I didn't give a heads up in my earlier reply. Another is Legs that Don't Walk. Both recos, just like Even If You Don't Love Me, have psychological elements that some may find disturbing. Do you have anything specific you're looking for?
