Mhmm there’s not much that engages readers into the story and makes us anticipate what will happen next... I wonder what went wrong in the story telling? Is it the misproportion head and body and makes them all look like 9 year old kid in elongated body or just the villain emperor isn’t even realistic and his character seems too flat... I was expecting someone who was able to wait 10 years to kill her mother and grandpa to be more cautious and quick mind making him a stronger antagonist rather than this short sighted egotistical dude

Loll I was just analytically giving you a reason that might have made you think the story is boring. I didn’t explain in depth onto each points since I was expecting you to understand what I meant by flat character without any dynamic. A lot of well known good story her something to do with their realistic and logical portrayal on top of making characters, especially the main character, relatable and understandable. There are journals on breaking down author’s writing and story telling and these points are often times mentioned and pointed out in their analysis. Thought a lot of times, stories that are able to make it big also rely on luck and how receptive the audience is to the story. You can have a great litrpg story yet the fandom and readers are more into thriller genre on whatever site they posted on or something.
