Nope. Any less than 8 is dangerous, even or odd. Babies are still developing organs and their functions. I'm a nurse in Neonatal care and surviving a baby that young is very taxing for all involved, most especially for the baby because they're just not ready for life outside the womb, although of course medical knowledge and technological improvement greatly increase the odds.
But since this is fiction, maybe we can depend on the author to produce a miracle.
