She was busy because of the ball and only remember this event at the day of this event happened.
Yes I see what you mean but she could've put more effort in saving her Dad since she already experienced it. She's aware when it would happen she could've been more vigilant instead of just letting it happen without any plans whatsoever.
I'm not disappointed she couldn't do anything in that situation but rather she didn't prevented it from happening. I mean you have sooo much time gurly. At least remember the date!?
