Yes, I've seen the spoilers... this fucker Khalid is so delusional. He hid a lot of things from mc and acts like HE'S the one doing her a favor by keeping her in the dark about their country. Something about "letting her keep her innocence" or some shit.
It's so crazy to the point that he probably thinks that beheading her was an act of mercy. But since he can't move on from her either, he's keeping the headless body in a preserved state.
Though, I've come across some people who switched their opinions of Khalid because of his "tragic" backstory. I beg to differ though, not only did he stab her in the back (quite literally), he desecrated and humiliated the deceased's body. No amount of explanation will justify that.

I remember someone saying that khalid gave the emperor her head, Estelle or whatever her name was and he kept her body.. and he maintained it in a good condition.. to do various of things to it? Because he liked her (⊙…⊙ ) I’m still shocked
