The divorce happened because he was found out.
He stole shannet's necklace which was given to her by her mom and gave it to his mistress (This fu*ker, I hope he dies) Tia saw his mistress wearing it in a sweet shop she frequents. So he deliberately spills something on her dress and takes her to her father's shop to buy her new clothes knowing full well her father and grandfather will be there. And of course they both recognized the necklace :D

OMG what the heck...thank you for spoiling. I can't believe he was so stupid to actually take her into Gallahan's shop even though he was trying to avoid Tia. That was a dumb move. So ig there wasn't really any foreshadowing to him being evil before the event of him knocking Tia over at the family dinner.
OH MY GOD THAT SCARED THE SHIT OUT OF ME like I didn't expect the uncle to be like that. I thought he was gonna be another tia simp or some fatherly figure bc her aunt is a queen who supports another queen. He was so fake that one time he saw her and apologized for not attending FL's bday. Like his change in attitude actually got me freaking out and I was so confused. Maybe it's bc I forgot minor details since I haven't read this in awhile...does anyone know if there was hints at him being bad from the start besides the fact that he eventually divorced Aunt Shananet? I'm really curious.
