tbh im split i get that they want representation but there’s no need for anything sexual in the film + it’s literally okay to be interpreted as male friendship. it’s allowing kids to view masculinity between men as MORE THAN sports, cars, fighting, stereotypical gender expectations. but if one views it as queer there isn’t an issue either. the biggest thing is that explicitness is so unnecessary sometimes. especially when they’re literal children being shown as a family film, do that for fifty shades of grey or sumthin not no fish going on land movie
