I think they genuinely are good friends but the guy is also quite serious with his position. So even if he was ordered to kill his friend, he wouldn't hesitate to. I think thats why Ijin acts that way. Because he knows he's as dangerous as him.

Yeah I think so too, I feel like he likes ijin but he would do anything to keep his status
i actually think this man cared for ijin like he's not tryna trick or like treten him or anything like he's actually a good friend and sees ijin as someone close to him but the way ijin acting maked me want to rethink about that
