His background makes me hate him more. He should understand what it feels like to be mistreated and abused but he did the same thing anyway. He has no way to redeem himself in my opinion. think she should take her baby and leave him to start a new life with someone who actually loves her.
I like the story, but the duke's background feels really forced for us to feel bad for him. I feel like what we have seen so far should have motivated him to be a better husband, to not be controlled by both women's fathers, yet he was terrible even if he didn't intend to be. He knew how things worked for women, its not just ''being unaware'' anymore
