Yes, but your internet has to be stable in order to connect with your VPN. Don't forget everything from Google to Facebook is also blocked, so be sure to get a good and well-working vpn.
I was in China for a half year and most of the time my internet was quite unstable hence I wasn't able to really connect to the western internet. I hope you won't have that problem :)

Does anyone live in the People's Repulic of China? I'm considering moving there (currently in the US), and I wanna know if I can still read mangago? I've heard that as an American I can get a VPN, but will that help?
