Seriously why did it get dropped?!

Okane ga Nai and this one do share some similarities but not enough to be called plagiarism or so similar that they could be mistaken for each other.

Seriously why did it get dropped?!

Agree, they do have similarities but not so alike as to be plagiarism.

Okane ga nai; Ayase (uke) is a sweet, nieve/ air-head university student (with a bad memory) who gets sold to pay off his cousin's debts. whilst Kanou (seme) is an ultra-possessive/ dictator-like loan shark with yakuza ties, a troubling past and daddy issues (no one but Ayase and the lawyer actually like him).

Tokyo Yabanjin; Fubuki (uke) is an air-headed, idealistic detective who's young appearance and personality gets him into trouble. Daimon (seme) is a nice enough, yakuza boss who is beloved by his direct subordinates and really just wants what's best for Fubuki.

Both have their similarities because it's by the same mangaka, and that's just their style to have the feminine uke being saved and/or sexually harassed by their more masculine seme.

I like both manga and am a fan of the mangaka's other works, so yeah I wish that this manga would continue.
