I totally agree! If I had to choose between the person I love potentially dying in pain with me or letting them go so they can survive its obvious which one I'd pick.
The ones who said that FL is stupid are actually the really stupid ones.
Everyone saying that the FLs are so stupid for getting the ML together with the original FL, but honestly I can understand why they do it.
Because in the story the two were described as soulmates, destined for each other, so in love, perfect couple and stuff like that.
If I were in that position, and would want to keep the ML for myself I would feel like fighting against fate.
I bet it's so sad and tiring to think that the ML will naturally fall in love with the original FL. You would have to act as a cupid for the one you fell in love with.
And we as readers see, that the current FL changed stuff and impacted his feelings, but as a character in a story you don't belong in you feel so powerless and stupid.
Yeah, my opinion, also I am open to discussions :D
