What's the deal with the cut manga and the website?

Is that the official site or they trying to make money off of illegal scanlation while bypassing the author? I mean, I get wanting to earn money for your time and effort (re: scanlation) but this feels like they are earning money from what is simply supposed to be a fun thing among fans... until the manga gets an official translation and legal way to read it.

They are also paying for the translation(???) which I'm pretty sure would fall under IPRights Act, unless they are the official author/publisher.

As much as I wanna read this manga, and yes, I KNOW I'm on a pirate aggregated site, I'm still not comfortable with someone illegally making money off of someone else's work.

P.S. if they ARE the legal publisher, ignore this rant.

You can read the legal translation for free on webtoon app, though it hasn't caught up this far yet.

They aren't. I checked the webtoon app also. It's released only upto chapter 9, with chapters 10-14 paid with wait for free policy of one chapter per week. This site released upto chapter 15 (as of yesterday) with one chapter every 24 hrs (as per their site).

So, basically, not only they are an illegal scanlation, they are actually bypassing the legal site and the author and making money from the illegal scanlation.

They are also an aggregate website like mangago, I think (but with their own translation teams), they are just using this story to direct the traffic from mangago to their website.
