Steal like an artist, no?

Huh? Waitah minute. Does the artist own the style if they were first to create it? I mean I have seen artsyle kinda similar to painter of night. But never seen anyone or author & artist themselves complaining their artsyle being used by other manhwakas? Or am I missing something?

Yeah, ig some people get offended by the similarities, if the artstyle is considered "unique" or smthing then probably. I don't think its much of an issue unless the person is tracing, making art for bad causes, or impersonation¿.

I read abt this a lil on some website but I don't speak for all :')

Yeah, I looked up some information abt it. I found that traditional mixed digital art, including manhwa/ga/hua actually can have similar art styles and artists doesn't Bush/roast each other if characters look alike unless it is not traced art/charachters.
But it is mostly conceptual artists who fight over the concept and idea put into art. Like those who mostly use photoshop. I found some cases where two famous concept artists were bashing each other on SM just because they both have same idea of human skull looking into same direction from same prospective with same flower concept Pictures are totally different even though they both have same concept. Well anyway, webcomic world seem more peaceful compared to illustrators world in terms of owning an artsyle
