There's a bunch of people married their own cousin either they want to continue their legacy. Its totally legal. Its not like you married your own brother. Your mom and his mom are blood related, doenst mean you and him are too.. Except is mother gives her milkies to you, thats how you cant married your own cousin. Idk where you're from but this is normal for some asian country
It's legal in Australia, my country, just not common. I've also read half US states have it legal, while all allow second cousin marriage. It was common in Western countries at one stage. Ashley in Gone with the Wind married his first cousin, and Europeans, notably the royal families, married their cousins. Edgar Allan Poe and Jerry Lee Lewis also married their cousins. The practice has gone out of favour in the West (anything goes over here now anyway, I'd be so confused as a kid now), but other parts of the world have retained the cultural necessity for close family bonds, preserving lineage and blood alliances.
at the end of d day, it's best to observe cultural relativisim :// different places have different cultures so yea since it's legal in japan let's just respect that.
i think sometimes some people forget that "western ideas and beliefs" are not the norm lol
ppl be forcing diverse countries to "fit in" with western notions and if they don't follow, they'll be shamed
i mean just my opinion ~~
IF YOU DONT LOOK THE FACT THAT THEYRE COUSINS, THE STORY IS REALLY CUTE (⌒▽⌒)
