There is nothing wrong with pretty or feminine ukes. There are many mangas with masculine ones and some with feminine ones. Real men come in all styles and appearances (Have you seen kpop stars. So gorgeous but they are often negatively judged by westerners for being too feminine) so there is nothing wrong with representing femininity in men within fantasy too. Also Feminine men exist in other media like shoujo and otome genre too. Look at Bishounen detective. Plus if the long hair is what's bothering you, this is a historical bl, just part of the setting.

It's pretty closed minded of you to think he looks like a woman because what is a woman suppose to look like.
