Lol I understood it pretty well so I'm not sure where the translator was confused but let's try to help out anyways:
The camps under Yohan are basically like duchies under a king. Back in the day, duchies could fight each other for land, territory, and power without leaving the kingdom of aggravating the king because as long as the duchies were under him, power structure doesn't really change much. The exception to this is when a duchy gains so much power within the kingdom that they can now challenge the king for his throne, this is usually not a problem tho, because of all the in-fighting between them and the other duchies keeps everyone I'm check.
So keeping this in mind, remember that all their questions after the name thing pertained to increasing some resource in the camp. Currently, all the camps have a specialized resource be it food, medicine, etc, and only a little bit of anything else. Supply runs need to be done every so often to get food from the market, if someone is injured, they can't patch them up there, they need to go to the hospital.
Yohan knows that no matter what they do, none of the camps under him will likely be able to challenge him in the end. The in-fighting itself tho? That's still a problem because this isn't medieval times where people could produce freely, this is an apocalypse where resource production (and many other things) is scarce. So his "stop fighting for each other's bowl before you overturn your own in the ruckus" (or whatever he said, i know that's not word for word) was a warning and reminder of that. In trying to scramble for another camp's resources be it people, food, medicine, etc, they run the risk of losing their own whether that's from people leaving one camp to go to another, food getting destroyed in ensuing battles, being attacked right after getting weakened by a battle, just being too distracted by internal politics to notice an enemy from outside, Yohan deciding they aren't fit to lead or any number of factors because they aren't unified within the union.
That's a great explanation. Helps me understands it more. Thank you LunaticTrap
ヾ(❀╹◡╹)ノ~ You're welcome, dear~
I love political machination stuff like this but since the point of it all is to discreetly gain/maintain power without the opponent noticing or being able to stop it, I understand that things can get confusing because by nature, it's supposed to be.
