While you are right that it’s Alex’s body and it should be his choice. You have to take into consideration that he is in a let’s asume long term relationship and when you are in one almost all decisions have to be discussed by both parties. Also, Cole is right when he mention what the child might want. We don’t know. Maybe they will want nothing to do with Alex, maybe they will want Alex to act like a father and call him dad. I will say it’s a reasonable doubt. But you know this couple has some serious communication problems.
While I was reading this chapter I was totally team Alex, so I'm pretty surprised to see all the comments on coles side. Alex is gonna be a donor which means the kid is not his responsibility. It fully belongs to the couple. I'm a woman and I don't ever plan on having kids so if my husband wanted to donate sperm to a couple in need, by all means have at it. He gets to see a child with his DNA and I don't have to be a stepmother, it's a win win. At the end of the day it's Alex's body and Alex's friends and Alex's choice. Coleus usual is just being selfish and toxic
