i read this one thing a while ago it said "to love and tobe loved, you have to be vulnerable" and it's certainly very true. it's fine to read manhwas/mangas and fantasize about the perfect partner but in real life all of us are imperfect including anyone we'd fall in love with. it's sort of the beauty of it too, being able to see the imperfections of someone and still wanting to be with them. sorry this sounds really boring and like a lecture ;-; im also one of those few people who just can't imagine ever finding someone to spend the rest of my life with but i hope things change for all of us in the replies including some random strangers that might be reading this rn. we'll definitely find true happiness even if it's not in a lover!!

Exactly! I dislike how finding happiness in life is always in some manner linked to finding a partner, when it’s not the case for everyone. I certainly find much more happiness when I’m on my own and learning new things. And for me it’s not even about finding the perfect partner (since I myself can never be the perfect partner) but also being intimate to someone scares me.
Ironically, despite reading so much romance, just the thought of dating someone irl makes me want to run away(￣∇￣")
