If there's any character with a slight resemblance to me in this book it's Mogi-san. His ditzy clumsiness could've been me from start to finish (naturally without a handsome stranger thinking of it as endearing).
- Automatic doors NEVER open for me, so I have to wait for some random passerby (yes, they open for THEM).
- getting my feet caught on whatever available to either:
1. fly towards my boss
2. smash around the corner
3. greet customers in the conference room with a shower of sparkling water and glass shards because I tripped and dropped the drinks on my tray (2 bottles, 4 glasses)
- shocking my colleague speechless while on the phone (she picked up the call, I tried to get my office chair closer to the desk, it flipped, I disappeared out of her sight)
Mogi-san, I feel you! I know this crease between the brows so well!

I was thinking the same thing about my self while reading this I have always been the clumsy child in my family and when I say clumsy I mean to the extreme I've broken so many bones and needed so many stitches over the years that the doctors called social services a few times because they thought I was being beaten

    Comrade!
That's why I switched occupations (from nurse to management assistant) - less casualties and (assumedly) less hazardous material to begin with.
Almost managed to break my knee while trying to transfer a patient (the bed wasn't chocked off, so while I had one knee in the bed to gain leverage, the bed moved and all my body weight was left on the...well my foot pointed in another direction than the rest ( ̄∇ ̄")), almost impaled myself on a key (yes, a key).
Was unpacking a delivery of transfusion bottles, key was still stuck in the cabinet lock, I stumbled backwards because the pack of bottles was so heavy and manged to hit the key with my spine...
    Life long, prosper and SAFE!
