Okay now I’m on ch 10 and some words aren’t blacked out, is that just how the manga is originally? Like how they have flashbacks and there’s no words till later on in the manga? I’m so confused
Yes that’s how it is in the raws, has nothing to do with the translation. The blacked out stuff is a stylistic choice by the artist.
I thought so once I had gotten through a few chapters. It just drove me crazy at the start wondering wtf was going on
The blacking out of some words drives me insane like what are they saying? Like is it really necessary? If it makes you uncomfortable could you at least put words in to semi describe what is being said? Like a replacement?
