Well... It is like... The character been suppressing himself so much that when he let go that bit sanity he have left, he came down like a rushing waterfall. That is why he admitted that he actually did not regretted his actions as letting go feels good time to time. Suppressing oneself is not healthy.
Had you had a very bad and stressful day, but you cannot show to others, like during a job. Like customer service, you have to keep smiling and keep taking all that complaints even tho u r just a front person. Then when you finally home alone, or inside ur, car you stop holding it in and it just come rushing down and break your whole being. After that good cry or good scream, u will be ready to take on the next shift.....
It is that feeling lol

what is more offputting is that after a kiss that intense they just went back to the tent they occupy together... and slept... alone! Like wtf?
I think the thing that took me off guard the most is that in these kinds of stories the first kiss is like a little peck but here it’s full on making out. And I find that strangely funny
