because the uke's consent was based on a lie. their relationship started off with lying, manipulation and taking advantage of the uke's kindness. just bc someone offers to do something they are CLEARLY uncomfortable with, doesn't mean u can use the "consent" card to gloss over the fact that you behaved like an asshole,

Why don't you re-read the manga? The seme himself admits in an internal monologue that what he told the uke was a lie.
I just reread it and he never lied about anything, I think you might be remembering it wrong. The only maybe lie I could find was when the seme asked him to have sex and went along with it when the uke said yes even when he only wanted to tease him - but he tells him later on during sex that he just wanted him to say “disgusting” again. I guess you could be referring to when the uke asks why they have to have sex so much and the seme says it’s his sex drive, then the uke assumes it’s cause he’s a “superior” race, which the lion doesn’t correct him on even though he thinks that’s not it. But that’s just an assumption the uke made, and the seme even thinks later how he does actually have a higher sex drive now he’s sleeping with the uke, which makes what he said actually true.
Plus the uke clearly wanted to have sex with him, he was just using the “giving him release” thing as an excuse - it’s obvious the seme wasn’t expecting him to say yes and it wasn’t his intention into manipulating him into doing it. The uke even says later how he was the first one to like him and the lion guy only saw him as a friend. If anything, it’s the uke who has been lying to the seme, since he keeps withholding info about how he’s feeling and letting the seme have misunderstandings. Like when he pretended not to remember anything when they met again in high school and said “disgusting” earlier on - it’s obvious he knows how that came across to the seme but never clears it up with him. The seme always acts accordingly with how he’s feeling and his thought process at the time, by that I mean he never lies
the uke clearly had a crush on him since middle school but didn't want to admit it. so even though he said something like "do it with me so you don't have to touch other herbivores" to sound all heroic about it. that was just an excuse. he wanted to be with him and their "deal" was the only way he could think of to make that happen.
It’s really surprising to me how many people don’t like the seme even though he never did anything the uke didn’t consent to, and even somehow blame him for being manipulated into sex at a super young age?? (⊙…⊙ ) ..is it just cause he has a lot of sex? ...doesn’t make a lot of sense but okay???
