Ciel turning into a demon only happened in the anime, never in the manga. It's non-canon. The anime had an original ending.
this is why i love manga best, 'coz some anime change/deviate from the manga. call me bias, sure, because what i read in the manga is the real series for me.
and i really hate ever watching the season 1 and 2 of the kuroshitsuji anime. IT IS SO DIFFERENT! AND THAT WHAT HAPPENS WHEN THERE IS AN ADAPTATION (ANIME) EVEN THOUGH THE MANGA IS STILL ONGOING!
I HATE SEASONS 1 AND 2 EXCEPT FOR THE 'BOOK OF- SERIES' WHICH ARE BASED FROM THE ORIGINAL STORY (MANGA)

every panel in the manga just boost me with excitement! every panel is full of emotion.
