exactly. i’ve seen so many stories where girl is being abused and a man comes recuse her and they live happily ever after
I totally agree that the plot is predictable, however I really enjoy stories like these. I, and I’m sure many other readers, sort of insert ourselves into the main character’s role. We want someone to come save us. It’s really satisfying to see someone heal emotionally and physically and receive unconditional kindness. It may not be satisfying plot-wise but it is certainly therapeutic. I understand not everyone sees the appeal. However, sometimes a story doesn’t have to have a completely original plot to serve a purpose.
Honestly the fact that she actually seems to be traumatized is a big yes for me haha, so I'm very willing to read it, unlike some of the other ones where they seemingly get rid of any trauma or have no trauma haha
I enjoy these kinds of stories as well but the thing with this one is that characters are boring and I don't see any depth. Its like flowery from intense abuse if u ask me.
I would have liked it more if they had made her emotionally unstable a bit tbh and a bit 'i have given up in life' attitude. Because her life after marrying the ml is like all flowery which is kinda affecting the serious vibe we got from her life before him.
