Running away from problems because they're scared to confront them, it's something many of us do until we actually communicate and solve them while feeling stupid as to why we acted that way but also relieved. Fits the story for high schoolers I suppose :)

Actually, even adults run away from their problems. Because running away seems like the easiest way but it actually doesn't solve any problem. Speaking from experience, it is hard to take the first step to solving your problem and communicating but when you finally tale the first step, it gets easier.

Well, not really. It's not just high schoolers or teenagers that run away from their problems. Rather, there's no particular age group or gender. It's part of a personality of a person.

Also, it really isn't easy, trying to talk about your problems or worries with a person. I'm saying this as someone who's got escapist tendencies lmao. It's difficult trying to take that step cause you're perhaps afraid of what they'll think of you, that your petty or selfish or whatever. But yeah it's all up to the person to overcome that fear and start.

Wait lmaoo this sounds like a full out rant. Sorry if this sounds rude, it really wasn't my intention

Ah no worries! I also didn't mean to come off as saying how just highschoolers tend to do it and not others! Just thought it fits younger people but of course everyone tends to do it as said :) I love reading comments based on these situations though, thanks for commenting love <3

I absolutely agree! The first step is always the hardest but after doing so, it's like "woah that wasn't so hard" or "it was easier than expected" and it's so relieving because we tend to overthink as well. That's just the beauty of how humans works!
