I dont know why I feel sad for sangwoo. I feel he just seeked for love and truly loved bum...

They both had mental illnesses tho but i agree i also don't like the ending. Would have been nicer if they died hugging or some like that. Still i think its nice that they are both dead like they promised yknow ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

Yeah if at end they had to die they should have died together in the fire. I thought bum would jump in the fire but he didn't.

Sadly, Sangwoo didn’t love Yoonbum and Yoonbum didn’t love Sangwoo. :(

Sangwoo feared his mother a lot. Since Yoonbum looked like his mom Sangwoo could use him to make himself feel... safe? Sangwoo couldn’t ever stand up to his mom, so having someone who looked like his mom and was also very weak made him feel calm/safe. Sangwoo needed closure, and having Yoonbum who looked like his mom gave him the closure he needed. For example, when Sangwoo had the nightmare about his mom when Yoonbum slit his writs, the reason Sangwoo had the nightmare was because he felt he had lost his tool. (Like if you have a stuffed animal you keep at night then suddenly you lose it so you feel scared without it-?) Sangwoo started to act more affectionately because he realized he needed Yoonbum to feel calm.

Yoonbum was obsessed with Sangwoo, he then convinced himself it was love. It’s the same scenario with that girl who was his classmate.

Idk how to explain it in a text to make it make sense..

Plot twist!!!
SangWoo survived the fire with disfigured appearance and became a legend of the night where people found some dead body around dressed in weird shirt & skirt with broken leg. They named him as FIREMAN.
If you light a candle, stared and the flickering fire, and chant FIREMAN 5 times, SangWoo the FIREMAN will appear in your kitchen grabbing whatever he can use as weapon to murder you while he fuck you…..
