
I agree with you. You can almost SEE the love between the two of them, see their feeling for each other. And I think that it's the most difficult think to convey, with drawings or words. Nekota-sensei is one of the best, in this aspect. I mean, at first, the love wasn't there at all, neither for Maya nor Nemu. But it slowly came for Maya, and even later for Mayu, and now, you can really feel the caring and the tenderness they have for one another... And it's amazing !!!

Hehe, the new sequel is about that. I think it has something to do with how Nemu's friend mentioned he despises rapists (or bf who forces their partners, something along the line) and Maya got depressed/guilty.
I remember when I first started reading this I really hated Maya. I mean the way he forced Nemu to have sex with him was not cool. However, Maya has turned out to be so much more. Even though he has never verbally expressed his love for Nemu his actions speak louder than words. Maya has turned out to be one of my favorite Seme's.
