I don’t blame the mc at all for not telling, it’s not easy to be open about being raped, even more so to a partner you really love and know they would feel pain because they couldn’t help/protect you, also, many rape survivors/victims(some prefer to use survivor, hence my use here)don’t understand right way that what happened to them was rape or sexual assault, and even if they do, some of them blame themselves(like the mc), and feel like they have no say, because in their head, it was their fault(which it never is!). I’m not judging the main character, I was just emotional at this scene and mad that rape/sa was involved, it was kinda normalised and the one that was found guilty was the mc, when he did nothing wrong and it’s not his fault. This situation triggered me because I hate the fact that in rape/sa it’s normalised to blame the survivors.

It’s ok and I know what you’re saying, I also hate it, not only it’s normalized but people turn a blind eye to it too! It angers me! They say it’s fiction, and if you don’t like it, don’t read it, and it’s such a disgusting thing to say? Rape/sexual assault is not some genre to entertain you while reading something, it’s something that can destroy lives(of the victims, fuck the perpetrators), it ain’t fun

what bugged me off was that there was never a clear up afterwards. like, the part they made up? i thought mimori was gonna tell yuma that he only felt good because he was dreaming it was yuma (that never got cleared up for yuma). i was hoping it would've been cause normally that's how things would go right? you both clear up any misunderstandings made... might've been something the author forgot about?
