1. Someone said that Duke Elgy child
2. Some said it her child with the murder of Viscount Rotesthcu
3. Someone said her xhild it's the child of Viscount Roteschu's son.

All the spoilers I’ve seen since I started reading this said that Trashta’s baby is from the same father as her first child which is her ex lover, the viscount’s son. She was already pregnant when Sovietshit met her. Also, a person who read the novel said that since Duke Elgy loved to mess with Navier so much he jokingly wrote her a letter telling her he was the father of the baby just to see how she would react. Sounds like so,eth8ng he would do.

I think his interactions with Navier are different. He treats Trashta like the naive fool she is. He smirks every time she falls for whatever BS he tells her to make her screw up. With Navier it appears to be more playful. He absolutely respects her and is surprised that he never can tell what she’s thinking or how she’ll react. It seems he enjoys the challenge of trying to shock her or anything to break thru her perfect, elegant, dignified self. I think it’s kinda funny. But, yes, lol. That’s the kind of guy he he is.
He’s obnoxious, selfish and overbearing, but in the end he’s a true friend. He gave up his need to get in good with emperor to help them escape. So all of his plans are ruined. The biggest thing he cares about where Navier is concerned is that his dear friend, Heinley loves her and he wants Heinley to be happy.
But I’m sure he still plans on irritating Navier

Oh BTW is Duke Ergy the half brother with Soviesthu?
I’m not sure what his plans were, but he said repeatedly in chapters that it was important for him to earn the emperor’s trust. He just blew that away by helping them both escape. I haven’t seen any spoilers to make me think he’s a half brother of the emperor. In all flashbacks of when Sovie and Navier were children I don’t recall any brother. Also, since Heinley and he were childhood friends, it makes sense that he’s from a very prestigious family in King Heinley’s kingdom. So I doubt they’re related in any way. To be childhood friends with a prince of the kingdom, his background is probably clean without scandal. That’s just my guess, though.
