Korean age is always either one or two years older than western age, so by our standards they'd be younger than what they are said to be in this. (I think, I haven't read it yet so this comic might be english or japanese)

Thats not weird actually. I am 28 this years but still looks like 20-23 years old. My mom 60 but still looks 40 years old. I am asian, mostly asian looks younger than their ages, it diff alot how western looks rather matured than their ages

Ages are mere fucking decorations in these kinds of mangas to be honest, especially in this case, where a 31 years old dude still looking like a fresh 20 years old Chad. Also, the author is writing the male lead like in some other BL novels (cold, possessive, the mean outside but warm inside uWu type). Anyways, dude just a commonly found Main Lead in Bls mangas, folks dont give a shit about the age gap. I feel like that author could have made him 40 years old and some people would still not care and be comfortable with it, unless the author makes the ML show real predatory, ephebophilia behavior and act creepily (maybe also change his appearance, except if he gotten plastic surgery)
