I think the same thing, the only reason I can see the author having the double reincarnation is so that the 1st timeline Jade could fall in love with 1st timeline Viche, which causes him to reverse time. I suppose in the original story he wasn't in love with her and therefore didnt turn back time? But still, its complicated and it makes the MC look like an absolute moron because why is she so dim when shes already read AND lived through these events
The thing is, it’s a double reincarnation because (for all she knows) she failed to make the novel follow the original plot, it also makes her less attached to her original reality. I personally think she isn’t stupid, a lot of the MC’s in isekai’s are smart and quick witted, but most people aren’t like that. Viche has a tunnel vision, she’s hyper focused on trying to follow the original plot, she’s going to do stupid things.
Yes I agree that she would do dumb stuff to follow the og plot and I usually like it when the reincarnated MC are dense a bit (Or highly dense for comedy effect). I also agree that she would be more attracted to the novel characters a second time around (She finally wants to save daddy this time so I assume she didn't do it during the first round, sure ok, understandable). I'd just wish that they could expand or explain her first reincarnation more. Like, events that she couldn't have possibly interfere (ex: cousins visiting and then she gets surprised on their job paths later on, like??why are u surprised?? Did that not happen previously?? Even if the novel did not mention it, u should have known something in your first reincarnate or I could assume that she never met them in the first place and just hid in her room all day but I feel that the author could have put a sentence to explain it). It's just the small detail explanations that would have made this so much better ;; She recognised the person who killed her wooo, ok the mood for the scene is better. For me, the ongoing plot makes it seem like the MC literally have no info on what she did in the first reincarnation. Would it not make sense if she did a compare and contrast on her first vs now? 'Oh i did this last time, maybe i should do this instead for the plot to be followed' Even now it feels like the MC is doing whatever, don't really know how i am going to follow the plot, don't know what i did wrong in the first place either, but I'm going to shove 'BE THE EMPEROR' down ML's throat because listen to me and follow the plot! Do it!
But those are just all my thoughts on the pervious chapters^^
Now that she clearly knows that she strayed from the plot when her dad is saved (or not idk i didnt read raws but my bets on saved) her first reincarnation experience should be useless now (im assuming she didn't even step out of the mansion cuz she didn't even recognise the fking TOWN)
I feel that being double reincarnated could still work, if they show that MC reincarnated late into the novel. ML could still fall in love with MC cuz thats how these genres work xD. Her mindset of 'something went wrong last time, must make sure the plot is followed this time' is understandable and yeah ok, her actions to make sure the plot is followed is to keep mentioning the ML to be emperor is ok, makes sense, then she realises that ain't good, yeah natural plot development okok.
BUT WHEN U READ HER THOUGHTS THOUGH OMG HAVE U NOT EXPERIENCE THEM BEFORE? WHAT DID U ACTUALLY DO BEFORE?!?!
The more I read, the more I think that it was highly unnecessary for her to be double reincarnated. Literally her character would be more likeable and make much more sense if this was her first reincarnation, and it would still follow the plot, because right now with the knowledge that she double reincarnated, despite the author NEVER EXPLAINING WHAT ELSE SHE DID PREVIOUSLY EXCEPT FOR THE FKING END, I just keep seeing her as fking stupid, at least put a scene where she firstly reincarnated very near the death scene so she didn’t even have a chance to know shit or that theres some magical explanation preventing her to remember stuff before (︶︿︶)=3
