ngl it was kinda confusing but it has something to do with her family lineage/history and falcons. they're connected but i didn't really understand it

Y'all we're so close to her becoming human again!! [SPOILER] Once they go the camp to see the princess's body, Val (idk the rest of his name lol but the ML) brings the bird with him. The bird in a burst of anger/frustration bites her human form and that causes her soul to switch back to her human body. Side note....the bird and the human form can not be awake at the same time and when one is moving, the other is in a comatose state. This is bc there is no soul in the other body. Sad news...the bird ends up dying at the end bc of all the stress it endured
