lol I'm pretty sure Jade did nothing to prevent it and only took action once he heard that Viche was involved. I'm also pretty sure that Jade figures out that she came from the past and stuff because she knew about the accident.
My hypothesis is that Jade already took care the safety of the Marquis’s carriage, and then there’s Viche who will take the place of the “Accident” that happened to her father
