Personally I think it's just because he's basically her son. It's like someone adopting a kid and later when he grows up they start dating. To me that's gross. She even said they were family.
If we think about Lucas's real age despite his youthful appearance, Athy is waaayyy too underage for him. I don't see people complaining about it.
I mean if this isn't your cup of tea, I respect that. But I still see no difference.
How is there no difference? Athy and Lukas do not have a relationship like mother and son. These two do. I'm sure if it wasn't for the fact that they are basically family not much people would have a problem with it. Like personally if these guys had a normal relationship I would totally like the idea of them getting together. It would be cute. If you don't agree with me that's fine I just wanted to say what I thought.
