these days people have really nothing to do and fill up this thread again with lots of shit it can be a not exactly healthy relationship but there is not abuse or rape like most of people think
this is not just expressing an opinion but spreading big lies
i see where you are coming from, i think i also had the same opinion after i first read this manga. but after re-reading it 2 more times i changed my opinion. i think kurose was a bit pushy but i also think shirotani initiated the things they did more times than kurose did. he groped himself and he was all like 'ahhh it's throbbing here, touch me', he got hard thinking about kissing and in the end when they had sex he was the one who followed kurose home and said that he wanted to do it. kurose also initiated some things but i don't think they were abusive. but i agree this manga is dark and a bit twisted.
also, someone explained this to me a while back. shirotani actually likes the sexual stuff but because of what happened with his father he denies his sexual desires because he is traumatized. kurose knows this and he knows shirotani actually wants him to do that so i think he maybe (?) wouldn't have done it if he didn't think shirotani wanted it.
anyway it's just what i think, but i respect everyone's opinion :)
Do you think only "physical abuse" is considered as abuse? There are also psychological abuse you know, and I NEVER said anything bad the manga! I just shared what i thought I realized as I kept going with this manga. I do not have anything bad to say at all about this manga! LIKE I SAID, I love this manga, did you even read my comment until the end?
Jez people, you guys need to chill a bit. And is sharing an opinion regarding a certain issue THAT BAD? I even worded it carefully, but I guess people would still get butt hurt over it. Jez...
i don't see the "psychological abuse" neither
I LOVE people like you who shared their opinion regarding the matter rather than bashing over the minority. AND I also love that you shared your thoughts and what other had said about it too.
I guess you are quite right on the sex part, I agree that both are consensual on the act. And yes, I thought Kurose is a bit pushy...but looking from what you've explained, and with Shirotani's trauma, it does make sense a bit if Kurose needs to push Shirotani (or nothing would progress haha).
It's okay! I love opinions. A great argument can sway even a skeptical thinker sometimes! :D Thank you.
Well don't forget that it's a SM relationship, all relationship are not the same but one of the more common trait is the S pushing the M to see and know the limit of what he can and cannot do. That's why in volume three when shirotani ask kurose to stop pulling on his glow kurose obey. That's an hard limit and Kurose is respectfull enough to accept it. I'm not saying that he is perfect (with parents like that no wonder) but some of the issues you have with him is probably from this sm relationship.
I used to love this manga so much that I would consistently wait for the updates (and checking everyday to see if it was updated). But somehow along the way...it seems as though what Kurose did to Shirotani becomes more and more... abusive (?) in a way? I really can't word that part right, it just seems so... manipulative of him to do some of the things he did to Shirotani.
Don't get me wrong, I don't hate this manga. I love the fact that it has highlighted interesting issue (which are lacking in some other yaoi manga nowadays even though it can be cliched sometimes), I still freaking love it. It's just that, I just realized that there's an underlying darkness (from all those fluffy moments) and that Kurose and Shirotani's relationship are not as healthy as I thought it would be (in the beginning). Welp, just my two cents.
