So this is just my opinion about the 'rapes' in the story.
At first, Kento's rape threw me off. I hated him for that. But as the story progressed, I kinda realized that that part is necessary for the development of the story.
DON'T GET ME WRONG. We shouldn't tolerate rape, and it will never be forgiven.
But as I'm reading it through, compared to other stories where in the other party was raped just for the sake of traumatizing the character, if you looked at Kento's character, it's not that case at all.
Kento doesn't know how to express his feelings properly because he was in denial with his feelings with Kurama.
Questions like "if you like Kurama and want to win him over, why do you have to be always aggressive?" Then there was the scene when he said he always want to be gentle toward Kurama, it's just he's being forceful because of anxiousness, that's his way of holding him down and making his presence known to him. When their feelings were conveyed, he's now at peace and can be gentle.
He searched for Kurama for 3 years. Then stalked him (to protect him from Emoto).
Speaking of Emoto, you piece of sh*t. The violence scene with him for me is the one UNNECESSARY. Though he was the character created for solving Kurama's daddy issues (you know, the hospital scene and him coming out). Still, he's too much for me.
Well, my point is: all Kento's actions are for giving the story a deeper storytelling aspect.
And that's just a fraction of my opinion regarding the story. I already dedicated half of my dying brain cells to write this. IF ANYONE HAS OPPOSING IDEA, PLEASE DISAGREE POLITELY.
