Lol. Are the people of the empire that kindhearted? Given that they are noble people, some don’t like being compared to the commoners. There would have been disputes regarding the availability of black tea for the commoners as it should have been “for the nobles only” kind of thing. But then the author might have just wanted to bypass that kind of problem
