it’s not that deep but basically rand was really attracted to Stefan when he first saw him and didn’t know what to do so he was mean to him, then didn’t know how to get closer to him so he just kept picking fights for any form of interaction, even if it was bad, to stay close to Stef.
pretty stupid but yeah
he’s always liked Stef, and finally got tired of always fighting so he confessed and after he does they’re pretty cute with eachother most of the time except Stefan is reasonably a but untrusting of Rand at times. This might be a bit different as the comic plays out though becasue ive already noticed it’s a little different from the book, it’s only based on it and not an exact adaptation, but im excited to see :))
