Eckels is going to be obsessed over Penelope to the point of becoming toxic. He then betrayed Penelope by bringing in Yvonne back to the dukedom because he wanted Penelope to leave the house and be with him or whatever. Althogunt he was brainwashed to do this so I don't know if it counts as betrayal

yea so I saw this in a comment here or maybe on tiktok. They said that ecklis(forgot the spelling) betrayed Penelope for the real fl cause of power? and that the real fl was actually brainwashed by a demon or a witch and the Marquis(I'm having trouble spelling everything) is trying to save the entire kingdom for it to not fall bc if Penelope dies the FL will literally ruin the entire kingdom. remember the first chapters of this manhwa that everytime Penelope dies it restarts? yea the Marquis is the reason why it restarts. also I'm not really sure if everything is correct I haven't finished the novel yet I got bored hehe yea that's all.
